MENTORS OF MY GENERATION

Your always share your time with us,

You never stop showing your love to us,
Your always there as our guiding light,
Making and ensuring our lives to be alright.

Our mentor… you inspire and touch our lives in different dimensions. You’ve been there in the toughest and best moment of our lives. Enlightens and gives us lessons for our sake . I cherish all those moments.
For over half of my life, I have spent it in the school. And along the four corners of the classroom, you our teachers are always there. You’ve fed us unsurpassing knowledge that gave us the wisdom we have today. Wisdom that will someday be our asset in facing the challenges ahead of us. And with all those mistakes and terrible attitudes we’ve shown, you have never think twice to straighten us up and guide us in the right direction. You have let us walk in the right path and told us the significance of having a desirable attitude. And the most important thing is that you have tried to connect with our lives. You have shown us that you are not only our mentor but a person whom we can trust, share our emotions and be a part of our family. You have tightened our bonds for us to trust each other, to let ourselves be free from anxiety and to be happy. You have tried to be our parent. You have shown us love, care and make our everyday complete. You are the reason of our happiness.
You are a gift from GOD. Dear teachers our lives would be incomplete without you. You made our life a lot brighter. So I thank you for all the things you have given us: love, wisdom, courage, care, happiness, and taught us good moral values. You have provided and taught us all of this. You have sacrifice a lot for us and because of that you have shown us that you are the best.
And I a blessed with so much and you are the reason. Our mentors, you are worth thanking for and you have made our life complete and gave us a life worth thanking for. Thank you and I love you all.

"Vague Ideas"

Education, environment, workers benifit, and the farmers. These are the unclear things to the State of the Nation Address of President Benigno Simeon Aquino III last July 25,2011 at the Batasang Pamba[nsa Complex. Were these unclear things in the SONA were accidentally not mentioned or hehas not given significance on the ideas pertained to.
Projects on education, environment, workers benifit and farmers are not almost included on the SONA. And these is very sad thing to think of. Education is considered as one of the most impotant primary sector in the country. These sector holds the devolopement of the nation. On the environment, the nation is always affected of some man-made calamities like flashfloods, flooding and others. Actions must be taken to lessen the danger. Workers benifit and farmers can be also one of the most important instrument in the success of the country. It holds the key to uplift the country from poverty and to compete from the other successful nations worldwide. Thus projects wmust be implemented to attain this vision.
The president must see all 'the angles of the problem of the nation. Concentrating in one aspect can lead to failures. So actions must be made to see the effects and to make the country advance and develope.
On the positive side, Using the country's primary laungage is a clever idea. You have taken concidarations on some of the filipinoes who are unable to understand other laungage specially the English. On the projects you have tackled, effects on these are already visible. On the other hand, your always comparing the previous administation to yours. So stop it already. Just do your job as the president and concentrate on the developement of the country to make it globally competitive.Start the change and lshow that you are capable  of it and your taking your words and promises in action. Remember" Actions speak louder than words"

"Breastfeeding, Start and Promote it"

"The milk of a cow is for the calf, the milk of a goat is for its kid and the mil of a dog is for the puppy. And you what does your baby drinks". A very common statement but delivers a very significant and humorous idea  to every parent around the world.

Almost all the parents around he world uses powdered milk for their young infants. And this powdered milk has changed the long year tradition of mothers to use their own breast milk for their young babies or child. And the usage of it has changed the true concept of being a mother.

For thousands of years, breastfeeding have been used by every mother and its benefits have been known for a while and until now we still care how beneficial to the babies and according to researches the breastfeeding is both very beneficial to he infant and the mother.
 For the Baby:
1.Due to the anti-infective properties of breast milk, breastfed babies tend to have less incidence of or less pronounced symptoms of ear infections, respiratory illness, allergies, diarrhea and vomiting.
                    2. Due to the digestibility of breast milk, breastfed babies are rarely constipated.
                    3. Breast milk is constantly changing in its composition to meet the changing needs of the baby. It has the exact combination of protein, fats, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and sugars needed for the human infant at various stage of its growth.
                    4. IQ levels are an average of eight points higher in children who are breastfed.
                    5. Adult daughters who were breastfed are at less risk for breast cancer
                    6. Adults who were breastfed have a lower risk for high cholesterol and asthma.
                    7. The bond between the mother and child seems to enhanced with breastfeeding.
For Mother:
                    1. Nursing following delivery causes the uterus to contract lessening the risk of postpartum hemorrhage.
                    2. The uterus of the breastfeeding mother shrinks to its pre-pregnancy size more quickly.
                    3. Women who nurse their babies for at least 6 months lessen  their chances of having menopausal breast cancer.
4.Osteoporosis and cervical cancer are less common in women who breastfed.
                   5. Breastfeeding are more economical than formula feeding.
                   6. Many mothers feel special satisfaction in knowing that they alone are meeting the nutritional needs of their babies.

This are only some of the benefits of breastfeeding on both mother and child! So let's bring back the usage of breast milk for the baby as the tradition. It will be better for the infants to use it, for it's more appropriate, more reasonable and at the same time beneficial to the baby and mother. and again lets promote breastfeeding because it is right, enough and exclusively for human babies only....

"A Plea to the President"

Dear Mr. President,

          Greetings.

Our modern society is experiencing a lot of problems. these situations are affecting every Filipinos in in different way. And as time passes by, these situations seems to worsen. And because of that, it makes me curious and ask myself  " Are you taking actions and trying to resolve these matters?".

Let me begin my plea to you Mr. Benigno Aquino. When you were seated and appointed by the people of the Philippines as the President of the Republic, you were already aware on what is the real condition of the country in terms of its economic status, problems on the Education, on Justice, poverty and on the Environment. These problems are really affecting us in major ways. Poverty.. for generations this problem is one of the things that affects every people and until now this still affects the society. And if were gonna compare the current situation and the previous times as if the rate of poverty is increasing very fast and according to the latest survey, almost half of the Filipino population belongs to the lowest status. Each one of them are having a hard time to cope up with their life. And because of this event, they are forced to do illegal things in which the crime rates increases rapidly. And this poverty is usually caused by overpopulation, corruption and low job rates. "Education is the key to the success of a country". A very simple idea but has a very good thought. But many teenagers are out of school and not studying. On our environment. Every time we feel the wrath of the nature and we know how destructive it is. But how come there are still so much people who make \use of the environment to get money. There is the massive deforestation, the kaingin process and the very deadly pollution on air water and land. and this situation has made so many people suffer. We know how rich we are in terms of the natural resources but we don't know how to care for them. and another is the problem on justice. we can say that justice is no more now. and it revolves on the hand of the powerful and mighty people.

Another is you're sometimes focusing more on the previous administration. Your looking to much in the mistakes of the Arroyo administration. We know that corruption is is one of the major problems of the society which affects us seriously but this is only one problem of the modern society so act on the other problems so that you can fulfill your promises on us.

There is many more . But its up to you to find out and how to act on them. we are waiting for you to see for our welfare and to fight for us. And our futures may depend on the actions that you will do. We have faith on you. We know that you can make a difference. And who might know, you can be the best president in the future being able to resolve this matters.

Thank you and once again good day to you. And may you be guided by our dear Lord as you resolve this problems.

                                                                                                                              Sincerely yours,
                                                                                                        Azrielle Gabrielle Lazo Rubio   III
