Reflection for the Third Grading Period

It's very hard to say, but my fourth year high school life is already getting shorter and shorter. The third quarter has again ended. There is only one remaining qurter for me, for my fellow classmates to share moments with each other. But before continuing to the next part, let us again go back to the contents of this quarter.

I’m very happy to say that within the previous months,we have won great awards. And this are the following. Champion in the Speech Choir Competition, Champion in the Sabayang Pagbigkas, Third Placer in the Parade of Characters.  And this moment we are currently doing many things to make beautiful memoirs that will last a life time. Creating happy moments, unforgettable and laughable moments, for next two months we will soon take another chapter of our lives. A life of a college student.

Third Grading Period was also a busy period. But even though we were all busy most of the time, we still had made memories which are worth remembering.

New Year, New Me

Every year many people think that every year you must change something bad that you have posses in the previous years for your development and usually called as a new year’s resolution. This is the result of your contemplations and reflection of what you are and what you posses in the last years.

As for me, from the results of my reflections, I have traced and found out that really I have something to change and that is being a flirt. This is a very bad thing about me. Wherever I am, I sometimes cannot control myself and that is really embarrassing. I am letting my dignity and respect to me to be degraded. And the perspective of others on me is being concluded because they base it on my actions. They commonly think that I am not a good person. so I want to change that attitude of mine.  An attitude towards my reflexes and actions.

So, this new year,  I will try to make myself more respectful in the eyes of other people by changing that "flirty" attitude" of mine... Hope that I will fulfill this.

Christ: The Essence of Christmas

What is the significance of Christmas?
Jesus is the essence of Christmas, as a matter of fact, the word Christmas is a derivation of the word ‘Christ’. If we are celebrating Christmas, it is therefore important to know and believe in the person after whom the day was named.
As shown in the biblical passage above, Jesus Christ came on a salvage mission, to save mankind from their sins. Christmas should therefore be a time for repentance for those who have not accepted God’s plan of salvation for mankind, and a time for sober reflection and rededication for those all those that have accepted the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
Jesus was born about years over 2000 years ago to save you from your sins. The   good news is that his salvation programme did not end over 2000 years ago. He is still alive ready to save you from your sins. God has given a grace of over 2000 years for anyone willing to be saved to come unto him. As Christmas rolls in, it should be a time of remembrance of Gods plan of salvation.
If you do not have Christ in your life, then you be celebrating Christmas without the presence of the Celebrant in your life.
The essence of Christmas is therefore to accept Christ, the celebrant into your life and invite him to dine with you for the rest of your life. The good news is that there is a greater Christmas in heaven, a Christmas whose celebration do not end in a day. Only the redeemed can participate in this everlasting Christmas.

“Hope for the Change”

The world is a place where changes occur in different ways. The only thing that happens permanently and done for a definite or certain reason; can be done for the sake of thyself, for the other beings or can be the whole world and the vast universe. There are countless reasons for a change in this world. And every individual hopes for a change to be fulfilled.
As a Filipino, A change in our own nation, Philippines, is what I desire the most. A change in its development and change for its progress is what I hope for, like the Nations: United States of America, China, Singapore, Countries at Europe and others. I want some of the changes they’re undergoing. The change where almost all the global investments, high technology, business affairs and economic deals revolve s and are being based to.

But maybe, the main reason for us not achieving this changes are the politicians and leaders leading us, the discipline of the people, and some of the traditions, beliefs and cultures influencing every Filipino. So, we must all forget these things and start to for see our main goals to develop and make progress in our country for the sake of us all.
I wonder when will this happen…….
